All That Waste
lives lost
as a virus rages
souls clamor
for a remedy
to be delivered
without delay
with success
and distribution
comes denial
individual
right to refuse
vaccination
timely delivery
but untimely receipt
means doses lost
unintended
dose of reality
lives lost
This poem is my response to Twiglet #217 from Misky, the twiglet of inspiration being “all that waste.”

It’s a sad situation. I hope more people get vaccines.

One big ridiculous situation.. hope it’s on its way to working itself out. And.. on top of all that, I hope the **** works with all the variants out there!!

I “like” how lives lost is the beginning and the end. I really hope we can compile a covid book of poetry. These times need to captured.

Yes, the stark reality of the political mind, maladapted for the world today.

Bit then, common good always has been subject to politics. Thank you, Paul.
