Who’s Sorry Now?
Oh Mighty Commander, Supreme Leader
of the Greatest Nation on Earth,
we thank you for all that you do for us
as you lead by example, holding yourself
to the highest standard you understand
by mocking a disabled reporter,
mocking reporters injured at protests,
mocking your opponent for the size of his mask
during the pandemic that is sweeping our land.
Hundreds of thousands may have passed, so far,
but your honesty and forthrightness are all
that has saved us from dying by the millions
from this dreaded Chinese plague. It is our hope
that you not be counted among the lost. Instead
we hope that a speedy recovery will return you
to your natural form, so that you may continue
to display the fine character for which you are known.

I’m sure you’ve heard by now that Trump and FLOTUS have Covid-19 and he, with his “mild symptoms” is being taken to the hospital (probably there by now.) Do you know, did Biden wear a mask during the debate?

He did not. Has tested negative so far, fingers crossed.
Although I still wonder if even the illness is a hoax, designed by the Republican party to get him to keep his mouth shut and stop holding maskless rallies in states he needs to win. (K)

Maybe some eyes will open with the widening of the net of this pocket of the virus.

so media messages are mixed about his positive covid test? ERG. I should have known better than to believe it. His reign (a real sh*tstorm) is about to end in either case.

Hopefully.
However, what ever the immediate outcome, I now imagine his supporters doubling down at the polls.

I hope you are right.

As someone recently told me, Donald Trump is in hypocritical condition at Walter Reed Hospital.

LOL. Now I’m hearing his test was negative? UGH

Saturday morning, a briefing from his doctors at Walter Reed was “cautiously optimistic,” saying he was fever free for 24 hours, up-and-around walking, and eager to leave.
Meanwhile, on the same morning, a WH source “believed to be Mark Meadows” at a briefing said, “The President’s vitals over last 24 hours were very concerning and the next 48 hours will be critical in terms of his care. We are still not on a clear path to a full recovery”

I really don’t think it is appropriate for the doctors to be sharing confidential health information across the world on a patient. I understand he’s POTUS and a special case but HIPAA is HIPAA! I can see the pros and cons of has or has-not which has nothing to do with the truth, as we aren’t entitled to that. truth is a 5-letter word (worse than a 4-letter one) to the puppetmasters

I understand about HIPAA concerns.
What I find just as troubling is conflicting official reports on a matter of great significance to our nation.

I looked at a few other places. It is Donald JR that tested negative. POTUS and FLOTUS are positive for Covid-19.

And we still we have the WH chief of staff contradicting the doctors’ report on Donald’s condition. Typical for this administration. I guess the real question should be – which one is fake news. 😉

This administration lies about everything, so it’s difficult to know what is the truth. I hope Biden wins in a landslide–AND the Senate gets a Democratic majority.

Nothing will prevent me from voting in November. I support mail-in ballots, but with all the shenanigans afoot these days, I was planning to vote in person. (Missouri’s temporary legislation allowing mail-in specifically states they must be mailed, not dropped or hand-delivered.) However, on the extreme outside chance that I could be allowed into NY state if Missouri’s COVID numbers drop sufficiently at any time in the next 4 weeks, I plan to drive there to see my new grandchild, due mid-November. Therefore, I’m obtaining an absentee ballot, which can be hand delivered.
Every vote counts.

I’m glad you have a plan in place.

The very worst thing is that I think much totally irremediable damage has already been done and that which can be fixed will take a generation.

Sadly so.
