Thanks, Kerfe. “root” was the first magnet to grab my attention, and I immediately thought of this photo.

Did I just say “root”? I was thinking of the photo in my magnetic poetry, but as it happens I was organizing old photo files earlier in the day, and both photos were fresh in my mind as I wrote the hawk and roots poems.
