May 6, 2019 / Ken / rivrvlogr / 12 Comments

The prompt for Carpe Diem #1658 Tan Renga – Wintry Gusts is to write a two-line response to a haiku by Aktagawa Ryunosuke, a.k.a. Gaki (Hungry Ghost) (in blue),
to create a tanka

Wintry gusts:

the ocean’s color.

open nets spreading silver
wide across the sea-tossed deck
