relieved of recent road salt

Did you get much snow? I like the reflection photo. 🙂

We had 2 inches, maybe 3 weeks ago, but it was gone in a day or two. We just had a short stretch of mid-60s, are now back to 40, and we’ll bounce between 40s and 60s for the next 10 days.
A large portion of this city is hills, so it does pre-emptive salting — not frequently, as we’ve had fewer and fewer snowfalls, but enough that the salt stays (on the hilliest streets – like ours – that are salted heaviest) for a few days if the snowfall doesn’t meet the prediction.
Yesterday was beautiful at 63°, so I just had to take that photo with the sky reflection.

We’ve had lots of up and down temps, too. No snow, but cold enough on some days. Thankfully, with all the rain we’re getting today, it’s warm–close to 60.

I remember those winters. Repetition can be soothing. (K)

Yo- yo weather lets Hubby play golf (9 holes) in December.
No snow here yet… Stay warm and safe.

The never ending battle with road salt, aptly captured in verse. I love the reflections in the car!
