  1. Interesting how the shift from 5-7-5 to 3-5-3 makes it almost stronger, with less.
    I have always loved autumn, or fall.
    We have native sycamores here whose leaves look very much like maple leafs. They especially flourish along the half-dry creek beds we sometimes call “rivers” in lieu of streams.
    This mediterranean landscape is my home, as I so often remind myself. I have lived back east, in DC and Chicago, but always have come home.
