~ loose American form of haiku, with 17 syllables
~ represented as a sentence
~ reference to a season is not required
~ similar to senryū

Last night I witnessed over 2 dozen whale spouts across the breadth of Monterey Bay, at sunset. An overused word, but in this case apropos: awesome
