A good perspective – generations to come will reflect the wisdom of MLK and humanity’s evolving acceptance of his message. I guess we have to expect periodic testing from resisters. I think the recent resurgence will prove long-term to have weakened the resisters’ power – a truly ugly scene embedded in a lot of memories. But we collectively are called to include resisters under the “justice” umbrella (as opposed to trying to stomp ’em out) … a lot of learning ahead for all of us!

Yes, a lot of learning.
What I find troubling is that the resistance is so embedded, raising its head often enough to let us know it’s still there, even if just below the surface.
