Believe it or not they can tag butterflies. Last week, 50 migrating monarchs were tagged at a local conservation area. I small dot on the wings has a code that can be read at the destination (likely Mexico).

Nature works to attract and distract. I actually saw two Monarchs so far this month – I can only hope they get to where they are going. It is a bit late for the fifth generation to be moving on.
