  1. The images make me wish I could dive in, get lost amid the foliage and blooms, let my worries rinse right off, emerge all wet and glistening. Oh, to be a green heron for just a little while! [Though likely all this one wants is a juicy fish.]

  2. How cool–the small heron and the waterlilies. I know the larger herons I’ve seen are usually in the shadows. I just looked up green heron and found this:
    “The Green Heron is one of the world’s few tool-using bird species. It often creates fishing lures with bread crusts, insects, and feathers, dropping them on the surface of the water to entice small fish.”
