leaves rustle
a dark horizon
winds of change
This haiku is my response to Colleen’s Weekly #Tanka Tuesday #Poetry Challenge No. 188, #ThemePrompt, with inspiration from the quote provided by Sue Vincent:
“Trees are sanctuaries. Whoever knows how to speak to them, whoever knows
how to listen to them, can learn the truth.” (Herman Hesse)
Beautifully put in such short words.

Wow. That pretty much sums up the current US atmosphere!
My inner Pollyana keeps whispering something about hope … but yikes the horizon looks dark …

I’m feeling the winds of change even here in Arizona. I hope the change makes us better as a nation. Your haiku spoke volumes, Ken!
