This senryū is my response to Carpe Diem
Exploring the Beauty of Haiku #1526 Juxtaposition,
with the challenge to write a haiku with juxtaposition,
or contrast in comparison – here the switch from virus to reading, playing
off of the term novel (or new). Senryū are often cynical or darkly humorous.
