Yes. The beard is there, just hard to see in this resolution, as well as some graphic “fidgeting I did with it. It was the only blue flower in a bed of bearded irises. In fact, it was on a stem branching off from another that was more traditional.

Strange reply system. Just done two now by photo. Amazing flowers and photos. Think I can see the frilly beard. Will share a photo today of a single Wild Iris I found but on phone at present. Less flourish but elegant and blue!
