(For some, this wisdom needs a bit more isolation for absorption to reach the core … I’m curious/trusting there is method to the timeline/spread of both virus and human responses to virus.)

Uncharted territory. For now, social distancing seems to be the key. Though some who demand an end to the shutdown may point to fewer deaths than 1918, they seem to ignore the fact that, even without a known cure or a vaccine, medical knowledge and technology still surpass anything available then.
