diamond dreams
beneath the light of a thousand
honeyed stars, I breathe
a sweetness found only
in time spent with you

Thank you, Merril. I remembered that APOD image from a few weeks back and knew I had to use “honey.”

Beautiful! 1) How do you take it from the page like you did? 2) How do you put it on a background like that? If you don’t mind my asking.

Thank you. 🙂
I use GIMP – a free / open source editing program – and paste the screenshot onto a transparency (a background option when creating a new image). I then use the magic wand set at around Threshold 35 to select the white around the letters, then I delete the white. Sometimes I save that as a png so that the image looks like tiles on my WP post. Usually, I click Select on the menu bar, then Invert, so that now the tiles are the selection. I copy that and paste it onto one of my photos that I’ve already resized to be a background for the tiles. Give that a try. I look forward to your results.

You are welcome, Ken. Thank you for the step-by-step instructions. I will try to do them and hope to succeed 🙂
