morning dew short-lived
as temperature rises
longest day arrives
as sunlight tarries
its hold on the day weakens
night waits patiently
as evening arrives
darkness finally takes over
longer nights to come

Thank you, Merril. Back east, the hardest part of taking photos of a sunset was deciding where. With a lot of hills and bluffs here, the options are limited.
