Thanks, Merril. They’re interesting to watch. They might be absent for hours, or even a couple of days. Then if there’s one bird, there are too many to count – several varieties. I guess we’re just one stop on the circuit.

I do like watching all the different birds–in December we were getting a woodpecker very often and sometimes blue jays and starlings(?), as well as the finches, nuthatches, etc.
