early morning chill
sunrise offers little warmth
frosted window glows

Last week I photographed some plant life that was frosted 🙂
Mornings are chilly – I bundle up when I check my bird feeders.

Double and triple pane windows don’t provide those old Jack Frost scenes, but I remember them from when I was a kid. When I was about six years old, we were without a refrigerator for a couple of months during the winter. The windows were always frosted, and we kept the milk in the space between a window and the storm window – sometimes chipping the ice off the top!
