obstacles in path
may require new direction
resuming journey

This senryū is my response to
Carpe Diem #1571 Turbo.

The Pan-American Highway stretches 19,000 miles, from northern Alaska to the southern tip of Chile, with one break at the Darien Gap, due to unfavorable terrain at the Panama-Colombia border. Heading south, the highway resumes at Turbo, Colombia.
