This is a creative way to look at a Christmas tree and interesting juxtaposition of a tree covered in decorations vs. in nature.

I can remember having a bird’s nest that we would place every year. It had been in a tree that we had cut down, years ago.

Thanks, Jane. Somehow, we lost a few small ornaments over the years, probably missed in the branches at the end of the season, but that nest survived for a while.

I’d never have thought of that, but now I think of it, the children had a story that they loved about a pig family and they cut down their tree in the forest and it had an old nest in it. Amanda Pig said it was lucky.

Some birds do reuse nests if the season has allowed them to survive the winter.
I’ve found a few that have been tumbled and have given them to a local bird food/supply store who keeps them on display. 🙂
Continued good luck throughout the new year 🙂
