Dragon Sunset
As dark massive spikes towered
From the spine of the great beast,
Earth rumbled at its power,
A monstrous bellow released.
In legends of the ages,
That disastrous call brought tears.
Tales of its mighty rages
Echoing, still, in our ears.
Yet, in its final sunset,
That fearsome dragon did fall,
The end of its dreadful threat
Bringing tears of joy to all.
As a response to Thursday photo prompt: Setting #writephoto at Sue Vincent’s Daily Echo, this poem was inspired by Demons, the response from Reena Saxena.
Cool one!

Oh… I would like to believe that some dragons are nice. 😉
I enjoyed all the ‘Pern’ stories. I think I’ve read most of them. 🙂

I read the Anne McCaffrey novels back in the seventies, and I enjoyed them.
