This captures ugly realities – spins them around to face facts.

True, but I think many who reject things initially pay attention if they keep hearing the “conflicting information” repeatedly over time. Trick is to present something different w/o activating ingrained defense mechanisms. Tricky. Poetry and imagery can work where bold assertion would only reinforce resistance. (No guarantees, obviously.)
