I like your owl poetic imagery, Ken. Thanks for sharing the Basho hokku.
I think that those who have faith should have someone to love and hold. Who cares if the monk lies down with a courtesan?
It would prevent the absence of love in their lives. It would stop abuse of those who are coerced (i.e. priests and acolytes), sometimes. So many horrors have been committed “in the name of Faith.”
