a fishing boat tossed ~ haiku

final day will come_2

a fishing boat tossed
giant waves on windswept sea
moon hidden by clouds

Carpe Diem’s Leafless Tree #1 asks us to write a haiku –
– inspired by three haiku written by Heiro Yaezakura.

The boats
Escaping the heat at night
Move the beautiful waves

The coldness
Of a broad road
In the mountain country

In the deep mountains
Men awaiting the salmon,
Burn the grasses
