Beautiful rendering … I like the expression “within an arm of the sea”.
I will look differently tomorrow at the many rain-filled “creeks” ever-expanding as our rainy spell continues. I have a tiny lake in my back yard (a bit lower than front yard) fed by a fairly continuous trickling stream alongside the house. My little lake could use a little sailboat …
