I think it was last year sometime (or longer even) I found a robins nest in my hedges.
I took several photos over two or three weeks watching them grow.
Then had to go away for a bit. When I got back the nest was empty 🙂

I know what you mean. Sometimes it seems like a switch is thrown. Full of life — Empty. But we hear them.
