clothes scattered about

clothes scattered about
love in the heart of winter
fireplace ablaze

Although it could pass for “revise that haiku,” this fusion haiku is my response to the challenge at Carpe Diem’s Crossroads #11 “a winter’s love”,
inspired by the words in the following two haiku by Chèvrefeuille.

torn apart clothes
thrown against a beach pole
a winter’s love

bare footed
wandering about the nude beach
in heart of winter
