who could guess – Shadorma

who could guess
it would be a fad
held by Mom
with eyes closed
while swaddled in a blanket
in my first selfie

This is my twenty-ninth shadorma using a photo from my WP Media Library for Eliot Dybden’s Shadorma November (ShaNov) at Along the Interstice. A shadorma has six lines with no rhyme or meter, except for a syllable structure of 3/5/3/3/7/5.
Photo originally used with the poem Butterfly Effect.  Obviously, I did not take this photo.
