within you
there burns a passion
unbridled
a desire
unwilling to be denied
that swallows me whole
Using a photo from my WP Media Library, this is my nineteenth shadorma for Eliot Dybden’s Shadorma November (ShaNov) at Along the Interstice. A shadorma has six lines with no rhyme or meter, except for a syllable structure of 3/5/3/3/7/5.
Photo originally used with the poem within, which was written for my round of NaPoWriMo, in 2014.

🙂 When I set up that photo, I knew there was a poem waiting to be written, one day. Now there are two.
