embracing peace
a broken man
will use poetry to voice
desires no one hears
Preparing for visitors (and then time spent with visitors) kept me from my WordPress Reader this past week, so I missed Elusive Trope’s first Magnetic Poetry Saturday Challenge. Even while occupied with family the past few days, it was impossible to avoid hearing about the heart-wrenching events to which Doug alluded in his MPSC II. My first magnetic poem shares a simple thought on these times.
Magnetic poetry is a fun exercise, and Doug has received some excellent responses to his first two prompts. While each Saturday sees a new prompt, the challenge details can be found here.
Hopefully some will hear–and embrace peace.

[MPSC – hadn’t thought about the acronym, but I kind of like it.]
