Let’s set a course across the sea

Jane Dougherty’s Poetry Challenge #37: Red boat is to write a rondolet inspired by Odilon Redon’s La Voile jaune (The Yellow Sail), using the word journey.
As seen at Odilon Redon – The Complete Works, a boat (or barque) appears frequently in his paintings.
Rondolet ~ 7 lines with 2 rhymes – AbAabbA
~ the refrain has 4 syllables.
~ the other lines have 8 syllables

This just goes with the flow, as Sarah says ๐ I think I’m going to have to find a poem that isn’t quite so dreamy. Just to add a bit of contrast to the magic.
