I’m am currently cutting a path from Vermont to Missouri…I love the progression of scenery you paint with your words!

Thank you.
Snow tried falling in Buffalo, for a few brief seconds over the weekend.

As it did in Vermont…sigh. The contrast of green to white with a little yellow and purple sneaking through is a sight in and of itself!

And it’s different every time.

The repetition and rhythm of this, and even the changing shapes of the stanzas, absolutely give this the feel of traveling down the highway, landscapes melting by.

This trip was interesting, in contrast to my two January trips to/from Buffalo. Of course, there was the lack of greenery and the absence of white-outs, but having a traveling companion seemed to make me see things in a different way, as well as having someone to point out sights I might have missed.

I liked the rhythm of this–like a car journey–and the changing scenery that you’d see from the window.

Yes–good idea! (Unless you have a driver or automatic car.) 🙂
